Ashmore Extension

It’s been a long process, but we finally received the go ahead from council engineering to relocate the existing vehicle crossover. The major issue was that the existing council footpath does not comply with current regulations – the existing driveway was a safety hazard.

After lengthy discussions with numerous council engineers we finally decided on the result you see here.

In the meantime, the carport roof has been completed. Cladding has been installed and we’re ready for external finishes. Pool & breezeway decking has also been installed and is ready to clear seal.

Rear insulated patio roof installed has also been installed with lights and fan on the rear patio. We’ve removed the existing old timber framed rear patio roof and replaced with an insulted flyover roof. This has totally transformed this area into a much more inviting space to relax and entertain.

We’ve also progressed with exterior and interior paint finishes and have installed motion sensitive LED lights in carport, intercom system at gage and lights & fan to rear patio.

We are working with our clients wishes to try and retain the original house character as much as possible by reusing existing brickwork wherever possible to match the boundary fence and house.

As you can see from these photos the project is really starting to take shape with the finish line now in sight.
